The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Registered voters can cast their ballots in person at their designated polling place. Polls generally open at 8:00 a.m. and remain open until 8:00 p.m. CDT. You may also vote early at the County Election Commissioners Office 30 days prior to the election.

How do I register?
If you are not a registered voter, you still have time.
- Register online or mail a completed voter registration application by Friday, October 16, 2026 at nebraska.gov/apps-sos-voter-registration
- The deadline for in-person registration is Friday, October 23, 2026, by 6:00 p.m. at your County Election Commissioner’s Office.
Early Voting
You may vote early in person at the County Election Commissioner’s Office from October 5 through November 2, 2026. Registered Voters may also request an early voting ballot through their County Election Commissioner’s Office.
